About This hackathon
This intensive 24-hour hackathon invites developers, data scientists, and environmental enthusiasts to converge in Fargo to innovate at the intersection of technology and sustainability. Participants will leverage open climate data, satellite imagery, and AI models to develop practical tools and applications addressing critical issues such as soil health monitoring, precision farming optimization, water resource management, or renewable energy integration specific to North Dakota's unique environment. Teams will present their prototypes to a panel of experts from agriculture, tech, and environmental science, vying for prizes and potential mentorship opportunities.
