About This hackathon
Summit Sustain 2026 challenges developers, data scientists, and environmental enthusiasts to leverage artificial intelligence for crucial climate action within Utah's unique alpine environments. Participants will form teams to design and prototype solutions addressing issues suchs as wildfire prediction, watershed monitoring, wildlife conservation, and climate change impact assessment on mountain ecosystems. Mentors from leading tech companies and environmental organizations will guide teams through the ideation and development process, culminating in presentations to a panel of expert judges. This event aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and practical applications of AI to protect and preserve our precious natural landscapes for generations to come, encouraging creative problem-solving with real-world impact potential.
